ADVICE TO THE POLITICAL GLADIATORS

The political atmosphere that has condensed and thickened as the general election draws near next month is said to herald the advent of a new nation as well as boost transformation in the future of this great nation. Though not many people hold dear to this point, many have however opined that the tension that has been created amidst this forthcoming election has to be deflated because it may as well take us years aback into the stone age if some concerns been raised are not addressed.

A popular social media and online personality Favor Ojochegbe James has recently added his voice to the growing concern of the people as well as the rising insecurity of lives and property in the nation. He has called on the security agency to be proactive before, during and after the election and has urged the political parties, their agents and loyalist to avoid all forms of vote buying and totally abstain from using the youths as political assassins and thugs to rig and win their various party elections. Due to the sacredness of the human life, parents have also been advised to caution their wards to avoid acts and behaviors that may portend danger or loss of life.

He also advised that the election will come and go and the losers should take defeat in good faith and the winners should show magnanimity in victory.

He also prayed that at the end of everything here on earth that we will all make it to heaven, the eternity beyond based on the way we reverence God in this election which is a litmus test to see if we indeed are worthy.
